Couture houses, made in Parma.

Every fashion-house collection here is produced with SCIC: since 2018 SCIC has made kitchen and wardrobe collections for international fashion houses in its own Parma facility. Schiffini is its own house: a legendary luxury Italian kitchen company founded in La Spezia in 1925, with many of its collections designed by the architect Vico Magistretti. SCIC is its steward.

ELIE SAAB Maison

The kitchen

Art Deco measure, couture materials.

Designed by Carlo Colombo with SCIC’s R&D team and engineered by Ballabeni&Catellani Studio, the ELIE SAAB Maison kitchen takes its proportions from Art Deco.

A Calacatta marble island front stands on a grooved plinth, flanked by pressed leather with the ELIE SAAB monogram. A velvet-finish steel top integrates sink, hob and hood; Ghost columns open from engraved doors in Liquid Steel lacquer.

Milan Design Week 2026

For Milan Design Week 2026, ELIE SAAB Maison staged “The Milanese House. Una notte a Milano.” in its showroom at Via Pietro Mascagni 2, a palazzo set out as a private home after dark, with kitchens and wardrobes made with SCIC.

Kitchens and wardrobes

Rational lines, black and white.

Rigid architectural lines meet reflective surfaces and tactile textures in the house palette of black and white.

The Quai Voltaire kitchen, with guest designer Matteo Nunziati, pairs a Nero Antico marble island and Vintage steel top with black gloss lacquer, Liquid Steel column doors and Zimbabwe black marble. Wardrobes and walk-ins carry the same language into private rooms.

The collections

The Magistretti kitchens, reissued.

A century of Italian kitchen design, with SCIC as steward of the brand. Schiffini returns with the kitchens the architect Vico Magistretti designed for it and a new program for 2025. Cina won the Kitchen category at the 2026 ELLE DECO International Design Awards.

Schiffini Cina, by Vico Magistretti.

Designed in 1986 and reinterpreted by Marco Costanzi for Schiffini’s centenary, Cina won the Kitchen category at the 2026 ELLE DECO International Design Awards, presented on April 22, 2026 at Milan’s Armani/Teatro.

The award-winning edition keeps the steel hood and recessed groove handle, with work surfaces in natural quartzite, marble resin or Sahara Noir marble.
