Canossa kitchen by SCIC Italia

Atelier

Parma, 1948. San Francisco, today.

SCIC Italia has made kitchens in Viarolo di Parma for more than 75 years. SCIC San Francisco is its Bay Area Flagship.

The manufacturer

Manufactured, not imported.

SCIC engineers its kitchens, wardrobes and walk-in closets as collections of modules designed to work together, and produces each order in a 750,000-square-foot facility in Viarolo di Parma.

Since 2018 the same facility has produced collections with fashion houses, including KARL LAGERFELD Maison and ELIE SAAB Maison. SCIC San Francisco also presents Schiffini, the hundred-year-old luxury Italian kitchen company from La Spezia, whose collections include many designed by Vico Magistretti. SCIC is the steward of this legendary brand.

Production is centralized in Parma and entirely Italian. Lacquers are applied by hand, so slight variations make each piece unique.

The Flagship

Pronounced “chic.”

Our showroom in the San Francisco Design District presents SCIC Italia at full scale: complete kitchens, wardrobes you can walk through, and furniture, not just door samples.
